countdown

This is a new venture, writing for the whole world...I want to share the experience and excitement of this time in my life with my friends and family. Tonight I am just setting this up but plan to continue writing as we prepare for the 16 day trip that we have planned to visit our sponsored children in Masii, Kenya from 16 April to 4 May. It is hard to put into words the feelings I have about this whole trip. I know I am not the first person to take a trip like this and it is not the first time in my life that I have done something like this (Bill and I were Peace Corps Volunteers in Chile after all from 72-75) but it is the first time I have done it without Bill and it feels like I am going to outer space -- it has been so long since we left the states that I just don't even know how to feel. I can hardly wait.
